Alison
~ The first main character of the story. She was always an outcast growing up as a child, never having any friends or really experienced love with an enraged drunk mother and with no father to help raise her and give her the care she needed. But that is not all, growing up with odd powers during a time where "witches" were being hunted can be scary...for a young innocent girl especially...or so she seems. Her entire life is turned around when her mother falls to her death and her only friends are targeted by witch hunters. Her only way is out, and this is where her true story begins.
Johnathon Harker
~ Introduced at the end of Chapter 1. He offers to take Alison under his wing. Not much is explained about his past, but in good purpose. He's lived a long time, longer than most vampires today...in fact hes quite the elder amongst them. He was an archeologist in his early years, still enjoys studying rare artifacts...being so much a master in his life profession now. He carries around an ancient vampire skull, which he claims might hold the answer to the beginning of all vampires. He is also a master warlock in his clan of witches, normally hanging around to teach fledglings of their powers.
